GRK Infra has appointed Marko Leppänen, CEO of Keski-Suomen Betonirakenne (KSBR), as a member of the GRK Group Management Team from 27 October 2026. GRK completed its acquisition of KSBR on 30 June 2026.

Leppänen, a civil engineer, has led KSBR since May 2025 and previously worked there as Director of Industrial Construction, Site Manager and Project Manager. With his appointment, the Group Management Team has 12 members.

KSBR brought GRK concrete structures, data centres and private-sector clients

GRK agreed in May to buy KSBR for a base price of EUR 85.5 million, with an estimated additional EUR 12 million, and said the deal would add expertise in complex concrete structures, energy and data centre projects and broaden its private-sector customer base. KSBR had 2025 revenue of EUR 124 million and operating profit of EUR 10.9 million.

When the deal closed, GRK raised its 2026 guidance and issued 121,375 new shares to KSBR key persons who were not sellers, with a 36-month transfer restriction intended to incentivise long-term commitment to the company. In September, KSBR won a contract for construction work on a data centre project in Finland.

“Marko brings strong construction expertise and valuable experience with private-sector clients to our Group Management Team,” says Mika Mäenpää, CEO of GRK Group.

The appointment follows a new CFO and a acquisition

Perttu Piilo, previously CFO of Fira, joined the management team as CFO in July, succeeding Markku Puolanne. On 1 October, GRK completed its acquisition of specialist foundation contractor Pirkan Rakentajapalvelu.

Profit is rising while revenue falls

For Q1-Q3 2026, GRK’s revenue fell 8.2% to EUR 609.7 million, while adjusted operating profit rose to EUR 65.4 million from EUR 48.5 million and the order backlog grew to EUR 1.07 billion from EUR 683.2 million. On the same day as Leppänen’s appointment, GRK narrowed its 2026 guidance to revenue of EUR 850 million to EUR 950 million and adjusted operating profit of EUR 80 million to EUR 95 million, from its previous estimates of EUR 820 million to EUR 1,020 million and EUR 70 million to EUR 95 million, respectively.

“I am very excited to join GRK and its team of professionals, and to contribute to the Group’s development as a member of the Management Team. I look forward to close collaboration and to building an even stronger GRK together,” says Marko Leppänen.
