Tallink Grupp announced that Chief Executive Paavo Nõgene will step down in spring 2026, with his final day on the management board set for May 22, 2026.
Nõgene has led the company for eight years, guiding it through major crises including the pandemic, the war, and economic downturns in its operating countries.
Chairman of the Supervisory Board Enn Pant said, “Tallink is in good health and well positioned to move forward,” thanking Nõgene for his leadership during challenging years.
Nõgene said it was time “to pass the baton so that a new leader can continue to develop and guide Tallink.” The board will now begin the search for a new chief executive.
