Sitowise has appointed Anna Wäck as its new chief executive officer, effective 19 January 2026, and Jannis Mikkola as deputy CEO as part of a broader leadership reshuffle aimed at strengthening competitiveness.
Wäck succeeds Heikki Haasmaa, who will remain in board-defined duties until 28 February 2026, the urban development consulting company announced today. Listeds reported on January 12 that Haasmaa is about to end his nearly three-year tenure at the company.
Sitowise is making major changes in top management. Last week, Sanna Sormaala joined the management team as the new CFO.
Wäck, who joined Sitowise in 2023 and currently serves as EVP digital solutions, said she takes on the role “with great enthusiasm and gratitude,” highlighting the impact of the green transition, infrastructure demand, and artificial intelligence on the market.
Alongside the CEO appointment, Sitowise named Jannis Mikkola deputy CEO and EVP technical consulting. With Mikkola, Sitowise is looking to enable faster growth in strategic customer segments such as industry, data centers, and energy, as well as to accelerate the adoption of new technologies, it said.
Wäck will take parental leave in May and is expected to return to her role in the last quarter of the year. During her parental leave, Mikkola will serve as CEO.
