Jukkapekka Laurila will join Titanium as CEO on April 1, 2026, to lead the asset manager into its next phase of growth.
Laurila succeeds Walter Ahlström, who, as previously communicated in November 2025, stepped down to pursue opportunities outside the company, the asset manager announced today. Since then, General Counsel Katarina Rosenström has served as interim CEO.
Laurila brings more than 20 years of experience in senior roles within financial services and capital markets. He most recently served at Danske Bank as head of securities, Finland, within the Large Corporates & Institutions division, and as global co-head of cash sales between 2020 and 2023. Earlier in his career, he held positions including deputy CEO at Mandatum Pankkiiriliike and roles within Deutsche Bank’s Global Markets unit in London.
“Jukkapekka Laurila has strong experience in performance-driven leadership and capital markets. We believe his expertise will support the execution of Titanium’s strategy and its next stage of development,” said Chair of the Board Mikko Bergman.
Titanium is a Finland-based, bank-independent financial services group focused on funds, investment, and asset management services, and insurance brokerage.
