Elisa Oyj is reshaping its corporate executive board to underline two priorities: profitable growth in consumer services and faster scaling of its international software business.
Henri Korpi, 52, has been appointed executive vice president of the consumer customer business as of today, the phone operator announced today. He moves from leading Elisa Industriq back to a familiar area, having previously held senior roles in the consumer unit. Korpi remains on the corporate executive board.
The telecom giant also said that Mikko Soirola, 56, will become CEO of Elisa Industriq and join the executive board on March 30. Soirola arrives from outside the group, most recently as CEO of Finago and Accountor Software, with a clear mandate to accelerate international growth and strengthen the brand.
The changes announced today also include the planned exit of Vesa-Pekka Nikula, the current EVP of Elisa’s consumer customer business, from the executive board.
The moves follow solid earnings performance. In the fourth quarter of 2025, Elisa grew revenue by 1.5 percent to EUR 588 million, supported by mobile services and international software, based on its recent release. Comparable EBITDA remained flat year on year, while full-year comparable EBITDA and EBIT reached record levels. Elisa Industriq turned EBITDA positive for the year, reinforcing management’s focus on scaling software operations.
