WithSecure Corporation announced the appointment of Xavier Carpentier, Ph.D. (Econ.), as chief financial officer.

Carpentier's employment will begin no later than August 1, 2026, with the exact start date to be confirmed, the cybersecurity company announced today. Carpentier will join WithSecure’s global leadership team and report to President and CEO Antti Koskela. Chief Legal Officer Tiina Sarhimaa will continue as interim CFO until Carpentier assumes the role.

Carpentier joins WithSecure from Basware Ltd, where he currently serves as VP, Finance. He has previously held senior and executive roles at listed and private companies, including Vincit, Fira, and Microsoft. WithSecure said his background supports the company’s next phase of development.
