Raute makes first 2026 exec addition as Timo Kupsanen joins as EVP, analyzers

Timo Kupsanen, currently SVP, head of business unit mined and recycled at Laitex, joins Raute Corporation as executive vice president, analyzers, on May 1, 2026, marking the first executive appointment at the Finnish plywood company this year, based on Listeds data.

Kupsanen will also become a member of the executive board, reporting to President and CEO Mika Saariaho. He succeeds Markus Sirviö, who will step down from the executive board and transition to a new role within the company, reporting to Kupsanen, the provider of technologies and services for the wood products announced today.

Kupsanen brings extensive experience in global sales and service leadership, having held senior roles at Laitex and previously at Outotec.
