Fiskars is continuing its shift toward a leaner, more autonomous structure by reshaping its top leadership.
As of February 5, Aamir Shaukat has stepped down from the Fiskars group leadership team to focus fully on his role within the business area Vita, where he will report directly to Vita CEO Daniel Lalonde, the owner of kitchenware brands Moomin Arabia and Royal Copenhagen said today. His former group-level role covering operations and sustainability has been discontinued, with remaining responsibilities moving under CFO Jussi Siitonen.
The shift reflects Fiskars’ transition to two operationally independent business areas. Vita, which includes brands such as Iittala, Georg Jensen, Wedgwood, and Waterford, is now the clear focal point. In 2025, Vita delivered a 3 percent increase in comparable net sales but generated only EUR 28 million in comparable EBIT, weighed down by inventory reductions and supply chain inefficiencies.
Management has launched a broad reset. Plans include simplifying the organization, consolidating production in Denmark, outsourcing U.S. distribution, and cutting around 310 roles globally. Fiskars argues that clearer accountability and a leaner structure are necessary if Vita’s premium brands are to regain profitability and support group earnings from the second half of 2026 onward.
