Boreo Plc confirmed that Tuomas Kahri will assume the role of chief executive officer on 1 April 2026, following an earlier announcement. 

In addition to serving as CEO, Kahri will lead the technical trade business area, the acquirer of electronics SMEs said yesterday. Current Chief Executive Kari Nerg will remain in his position until Kahri takes office and will support him during the transition period.

Kahri will enter a positive earnings environment. In January to September 2025, Boreo's net sales increased 13 percent to EUR 107.0 million, while operational EBIT rose 10 percent to EUR 5.2 million. Earnings per share improved to EUR 0.37 from EUR -0.43.
